Build Oracle infra - OIM 12c(OIG), OAM(12c) on single machine

 Hi Friends,

Oracle stack needs hands-on and practice to get expertise. In this blog I would help installing local setup of OIG-OAM-OUD 12c in laptop/Desktop. This setup would help you to do small POC's and test new features of 12c. I am doing it on window laptop so sharing steps accordingly, you may refer screenshots mention in blog to follow steps for any other operating system too.

Note:- OIM is known as OIG from 12c onward so in by post you may get OIG , OIM interchangeably, please don't get confused with the same.

Prerequisites for this POC:-

1. Window 10 operating system - 64 bit

2. Around 8 GB Memory(Min 4 GB is must).

3.  Around100 GB space for software inventory(can be allocated in any driver D, E, F etc.)

4. Around 100 100 GB space for installation(can be allocated in any driver D, E, F etc.)

5. Oracle account to download binaries(create it from oracle.com via self-service)

In case you are not following this setup, refer certification Matrix, It is very important to refer certification matrix before downloading and installing components as even you will able to install infra, you may face issue later running it or installing connectors.

Below are the steps to install software's

1. Oracle Database 12c Download, installation and configuration

2. JDK 1.8.. download & installation

3. Download middleware binaries and Setting environment variables.

4. OIM-OAM-Weblogic-SOA infra installation via quick installation.

5. Repository creation via RCU

6. Domain creation

7. Post installation configurations

8. Configure for auto start-stop via nodemanager

Step 3 - Run RCU and Create domain
